YEREVAN. – Armenian MP from opposition Armenian National Congress (ANC), former PM Hrant Bagratyan has found only one positive point in the Government Program and that in the culture sphere, he announced at a press conference on Friday.

“Corruption is not news these days, at all times everybody fights against corruption. I must say that the presence of corruption does not mean that everything is fine and the absence of it does not mean that we have achieved success. In order to fight one must see the issue. First of all, the target must be set. However, questions arise here,’ and it goes on and on this way. And you understand that there is no meaning at all in all these,” Hrant Bagratyan said imitating PM Tigran Sargsyan. “Fight against corruption is right economic policy in first place. Firstly – separate the state from the authorities. They did learn this from us. Secondly – subside the consumer. Thirdly – lower the interference by the state,”

Hrant Bagratyan said that he did not meet and does not want to meet the PM as he is sure that Tigran Sargsyan will not be able to answer his questions.
