Armenian Lori region’s Lori Berd village has many problems. Amongst the most urgent issues the village residents state water supply and the lack of pastures.

Thus, the drinking water not always has the best quality. The residents informed that quite recently several infections spread in the village because of the drinking water.

As one of the villagers, 78-year-old Vachik Papikyan, informed, often hail falls in the village, but so far the authorities have done nothing against it other than registering the damage values.

According to him, currently the main occupation of the villagers is cattle production.

According to the villagers, meadows are also a good distance away which creates additional problems for cattle production.

As another villager, Aspet Martirosyan, 60, mentioned, the state pays no attention to the village and villagers whatsoever.

The village head was surprised hearing from our reporter that the village has problems then added that the village does have pastures, the villagers just do not want to walk a little to get there.

Talking about the water problem, he said that there has been an accident but everything is put in order.
