YEREVAN. – Armenian Presient Serzh Sargsyan presented the results of his visit to Brussels and the content of the meetings during the consultation of ruling Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) on Friday, vice speaker of Parliament, spokesperson of RPA Eduard Sharmazanov told reporters.

According to him, the President had very productive meetings, he participated in the European People’s Party Summit and in his speech he touched upon the settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict once again emphasizing that the issue must be solved only through peaceful negotiations.

Talking about internal party issues, Sharmazanov stated that on the RPA proportional list Rafik Grigoryan, who was appointed Syunik Governor, is followed by Karine Harutyunyan who is Deputy Minister of Education and Science. However, given the fact that she works very well in the sphere the MP mandate will be given to Sukias Avetisyan who comes next after Harutyunyan. He has been in Parliament since 1995.
