YEREVAN. – The representatives of Armenian National Assembly’s (NA) largest ruling and opposition factions will head the NA Ethics Committee in rotation, Armenian News-NEWS.am has learned from the NA Rules of Procedure.

Pursuant to the procedure, the factions nominate their candidates and, subsequently, NA Speaker decides on who will chair the Committee first.

To note, the six NA factions already have presented their members to the Ethics Committee.

And since the largest ruling faction is the Republican Party (RPA) and the largest opposition faction is the Armenian National Congress (ANC), presumably, RPA MP Davit Harutyunyan and ANC MP Nikol Pashinyan will head the Committee in succession.

And next week, NA Speaker Hovik Abrahamyan will decide on who will chair the Ethics Committee first.
