YEREVAN. – US Ambassador to Armenia John Heffern and Deputy PM and Territorial Administration Minister Armen Gevorgyan on Thursday will formally launch the Anti-Corruption Awareness Program at the departure section of capital city Yerevan’s Zvartnots International Airport.   

This program, which is worth 77-thousand US dollars, is funded by the US Department of State Bureau of International Security and Nonproliferation and is carried out along the lines of the Government of Armenia and the United States Government Joint Action Plan on Fight Against Smuggling of Nuclear and Radioactive Materials.

This action plan was signed in 2008 by Armenia’s FM Edward Nalbandian and then-US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice.
