YEREVAN. – Armenian Foreign Ministry responded to Russian Ambassador's remarks urging to neutralize those NGOs in Armenia that want to drive a wedge into Russian-Armenian relations.

In response to RFE/RL Armenian service inquiry, spokesperson for the ministry Tigran Balayan said hardly any NGO could drive a wedge into Russian-Armenian relations based on century-long friendship and that withstood the test of time. Besides, all organizations registered in Armenia are functioning within the framework of Armenia's law.

In an interview with Russian Ambassador to Armenia Ivan Volynkin said “those who aim their actions against the Russian-Armenian friendship, do not wish the best for Russia and Armenia”.
