Eastern Partnership European People’s Party (EPP) Leaders Summit started in Riga on Thursday, according to the official Twitter page of EPP. 

The meeting of EPP member-party leaders is presided by EPP President Joseph Daul. The summit is also attended by Chancellor of Germany Angela Merkel, European Council President Donald Tusk, European Commission Chairman Jean-Claude Juncker, Federica Mogherini,  High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Johannes Hahn, Commissioner for European Neighbourhood Policy and Enlargement Negotiations, Ukraine’s President Petro Poroshenko, Moldova’s PM Chiril Gaburici and Georgia’s ex-president Mikheil Saakashvili.

Armenia’s President Serzh Sargsyan, who is also the head of the ruling Republican Party of Armenia (RPA), made a speech at the EPP summit. The ruling RPA party is a member of the EPP.
