Upon the order of the Azerbaijani Lieutenant-General Zakir Hasanov, the forces and means of the country’s Air Force and Air Defense have been placed in operational readiness, Azerbaijani media outlets report, citing the country’s Defense Ministry press-service.

According to the information, the military personnel was put into action upon a sudden alarm in a situation close to a military one. The aim was to check the combat readiness and application of practical skills, as well as the readiness of the military equipment.
