YEREVAN. - Today’s march of the “New Armenia” Public Salvation Front fighting against the constitutional amendments was controlled by a large number of police forces. (photos)

Deputy Chiefs of Armenian Police Samvel Hovhannisyan and Levon Yeranosyan, as well as Yerevan Deputy Chief of Police Ashot Karapetyan were also present near the Central Electoral Commission (CEC) building, which was surrounded by several rows of policemen, as reported by Armenian News - NEWS.am correspondent.

The march ended without any serious incidents. Although the march participants deviated from the route which they notified the Municipality of Yerevan beforehand, the police didn’t interfere.

The march ended in Yerevan’s Liberty Square. Armenian music is now playing in the Square.

Part of the protestors will again stay overnight in the Liberty Square today.

Daily meeting with the journalists is scheduled for tomorrow at 12:00pm. At 5:00 am the “No” headquarters will hold a rally along with
“We won’t pass” initiative, Armenian National Congress (ANC) and People's Party of Armenia (PAP).

The ANC has already announced it won’t join the “New Armenia” sit-in. “New Armenia,” which is led by “Founding Parliament” and “Heritage” party, keeps announcing they won’t leave Yerevan’s Liberty Square unless they achieve change of power.
