YEREVAN. - While ago large number of police officers surrounded activists Varouzhan Avetisyan, Armen Mikayelyan and Gagik Yeghiazaryan, who were walking along Yerevan’s Moskovyan street, which is not far from the Liberty Square. The activists have been taken to the police station, the representatives of the “United Opposition Headquarters” of the “New Armenia” Public Salvation Front inform.
According to them, Gagik Yeghiazaryan is the activist of the “New Armenia” Front, as well as member of “Rise up, Armenia” movement.
In their statement, “New Armenia” also demands that the police present grounds for Yeghiazaryan’s detention and immediately release the young man.
