The car accident with Armenian weightlifter Yuri Vardanyan is wrapped in obscurity. According to the Haykakan Zhamanak daily, the official information on the accident is not quite clear.
According to the official information, Vardanyan was alone in the car. However, the witnesses say, there was another passenger in the car, who also received bodily injuries. However, for unknown reasons this fact is kept secret.
As NEWS.am reported previously, Adviser to Armenian President, famous Armenian weightlifter Yuri Vardanyan had a car accident on Yerevan-Gyumri highway, on October 8. His Lexus collided with a tractor. Yuri Vardanyan was hospitalized and operated on October 10. The doctors say there is no threat to Vardanyan’s life.
