Within the framework of his official visit to Russia, defense Minister of Armenia, Vigen Sargsyan, went to the Moscow Memorial of the Great Patriotic War—during World War II, on Tuesday morning, and paid tribute to the victims of this war.

Also, Sargsyan toured the Central Museum of the Great Patriotic War 1941-1945.

On the same day, the defense minister of Armenia visited the Red Square, where he laid a wreath at the memorial plaque to USSR Marshal Ivan (Hovhannes) Bagramyan.
