The US House of Representatives has approved the ban on military cooperation with Russia for 2017, writes the Tass, discussing adoption of bill on Pentagon budget in 2017. The United States withdraw from defense cooperation with Moscow, unless the US defense minister and the Secretary of State can assure congressmen that Russia has stopped "occupation of a part of Ukraine" and "does not threaten sovereignty and territorial integrity of NATO member states."

At the same time, the US insist on the implementation of Minsk agreements and are in favor of the ceasefire in south-eastern Ukraine. In addition, the United States accept the legitimacy of the Russian troops in the Crimea, which operate in Ukraine based on the intergovernmental agreement signed in 1997.

In 2017, the US again will allocate Ukraine funds for defensive purposes: $ 350 million.
