Cargo train carrying 26 tanks with propane-butane derailed in northeastern Bulgarian village of Hitrino as a result of explosion of several tanks four people were killed, another 25 were injured, Reuters reported.

“Two blasts have caused a serious fire and ruined at least 20 buildings. There are many people injured ... many with burns,” Interior Ministry Chief Secretary Georgi Kostov said.

As a result of the accident several buildings were destroyed, 12 people removed from the wreckage.

All the victims were hospitalized, some 150 firemen are trying to put out the fire and are searching for survivors in houses near the train lines.
