US President-elect Donald Trump announced that the US intelligence studied the report published in the media about Russia’s blackmail against him and assessed that information as fabricated. Trump claims, that he was informed about it over the phone by the head of the US National Intelligence James Klepper. According to Trump, Klepper called that scandalous report as "false and fabricated".

Earlier, Klepper announced about his talks with Trump, but he had not made such a strong statement, reports BBC. Klepper in his statement said, that he did not believe, that the intelligence services had anything to do with that report.
