Researchers at the University of Oxford have conducted a study, and they determined that spending up to 257 minutes a day in front of computers has a positive impact on adolescent development.

Once these 257 minutes are up, however, computers begin to adversely affect the unenhanced brains of children, according to Informing.

A total of 120 teenagers from Great Britain took part in the abovementioned study.

But, as a result, it was found out that they pay more attention to smartphones, instead of computers and TVs.

The researchers also determined how much time can be spent in front of screens, but without harming health.

Accordingly, teenagers may play computer games for up to 100 minutes, use smartphones for up to 117 minutes, and watch TV for up to 221 minutes per day.
