YEREVAN. - Foreign Minister of Armenia Edward Nalbandian on Friday received Director for Continental Europe of the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Florence Mangin, who is in Yerevan on the sidelines of the political consultations between the foreign agencies of two countries.  

The interlocutors discussed a wide scope of issues on the bilateral agenda. Reference was also made to the prospects for the further strengthening of the Armenian-French relations.

Apart from this, the results of the consultations held in Yerevan and steps aimed at strengthening the cooperation between the foreign ministers of both countries were discussed at the meeting.  

Furthermore, Edward Nalbandian and Florence Mangin touched on the negotiations over the new Armenia-EU framework agreement.

The sides also discussed the implementation of the agreements on the Nagorno-Karabakh issue reached in Vienna and Saint Petersburg.
