Azerbaijani court gives long sentences to defendants in Nardaran case

The trial into the criminal case of Taleh Bagirov, Fuad Gahramanli, etc. tried by Baku Court on Grave Crimes has ended.

Taleh Bagirov has been sentenced to 20 years in prison, minval.az reports.

Apart from this, Abbas Hussein and Fuad Gahramanli have respectively been sentenced to 20 and 10 years in prison. Earlier, the prosecutor motioned for giving T. Bagirov a life sentence. 

Taleh Bagirov was arrested by the law enforcement authorities during a special operation in Nardaran settlement of Baku on 26 November 2015. Over 60 people were detained during the operation.
