The representatives of the U.S. Embassy in Azerbaijan, Zia Saed and William Solly, on Saturday held a meeting with the leadership of REAL movement in the organization’s office.

The Executive Secretary of REAL, Natik Jafarli, as well as the administration members Erkin Gadirli, Azer Hasimov and Rasul Jafarov discussed with the diplomats the public and political situation in the country, prospects for the economic development and the situation round the unlawful arrest of the movement leader Ilgar Mammadov, Natik Jafarli wrote on his Facebook page, contact.az reports.

Earlier, the Azerbaijani Prosecutor’s Office stated about launching investigation on the materials regarding the transfer of amount to REAL from the Iranian diplomat.
