The Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and his British counterpart, Boris Johnson, spoke on the phone about the issues related to Johnson’s visit to Moscow, reports the Russian Foreign Ministry. Earlier, the British Embassy in Russia reported that Johnson's visit to Moscow was postponed.

“We have unfortunately had to postpone the foreign secretary's visit to Russia planned this month due to rescheduling of the NATO Foreign Ministers meeting," a spokesman for Britain's Foreign Office said in a statement.

The spokeswoman of Russia’s Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova called that message as a " know-how diplomacy". "The fact that no one announced about the trip to Moscow but didn’t forget to announce about its cancellation seems to be rather interesting. This is a kind of know-how diplomacy, "she wrote on her Facebook page.
