Prime Minister of Armenia Karen Karapetyan on Wednesday visited rose-growing Ecotomato greenhouse facility in Goght village of the country’s Kotayk province.
About 80 percent of the company’s production is exported to Russia, Belarus and Georgia. It is planned to expand the facility from 20 to 35 ha in 2017, investing about $30 million. Work is underway on entering eastern markets of UAE, Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan.
Currently the company employs 200 people: Another 200 may join them as a result of investments.
The PM highly appreciated the development of the company, wishing new success to its staff.
