An Istanbul court has suspended Booking.com in Turkey, on the basis of an unfair competition lawsuit filed by the Association of Turkish Travel Agencies (TÜRSAB), according to RIA Novosti news agency of Russia.
At present, however, this travel fare aggregator website and travel metasearch engine for lodging reservations is still accessible in Turkey. But it will be blocked by the country’s IT committee, to which the respective order already has been sent.
