YEREVAN. - Post-election Armenia needs a consolidation of political and social forces, leader of Heritage Party, Raffi Hovannisian, told journalists on Sunday.

“In the situation emerged, there is a need for a wide consolidation of parliamentary and non-parliamentary forces, as well as civil society. Ohanyan-Raffi-Oskanian (ORO) Bloc was a pre-election alliance but now there is a need for creating a new force,” he said.

Hovannisian also noted that he had a meeting with Seyran Ohanyan and Vartan Oskanian and inquired whether they wish to engage in daily post-electoral political struggle.

“I have [already] said that Heritage is holding a congress in a month in order to decide whether there is a wish to engage in a post-electoral struggle. I think through all its services Heritage has proved that it struggled for the independence of the country and human rights. I think this school should be continued,” he noted.
