Turkish and Azerbaijani presidents Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and Ilham Aliyev have met at a working dinner in Istanbul, Turkey, reported Anadolu (Anatolia) news agency of the country.

The 1.5-hour talk, however, was closed for the press.

Aliyev’s press service reported that the Karabakh conflict also was discussed at the meeting, according to the Azerbaijani media.

The Azerbaijan president is in Istanbul to attend the 22nd World Petroleum Congress.
