YEREVAN. – Tigran Gevorgyan, a graduate of Yerevan State Medical University, proposed to his girlfriend Lilit Grigoryan, also a student of the university, at the graduation ceremony.

The President of Armenia, Serzh Sargsyan, also was on hand at this event.

But the girl, who was confused by such a turn of events, said nothing in response.

The master of ceremonies commented that Gevorgyan had not given his girlfriend a chance to turn down his marriage proposal, but added that such a proposal should not be turned down.

Tigran Gevorgyan is a future cardiologist.
