At least seven people were killed as a result of Argentina's extreme cold weather, RIA Novosti reported quoting Diario 26.

According to media, two elderly people died of hypothermia in Neuquen and Misiones provinces on  Tuesday.

Five more people died not from hypothermia, but from frosts, from poisoning by  carbon monoxide while using ovens.

Severe frosts came to Argentina last week. The thermometer has fallen to -25.4.
