YEREVAN. - Development of national economy is necessary for development of Armenian communities, EU's Ecorys Project Director Atze Verkennis said at a press conference on territorial development on Wednesday.
“If one wants to develop communities, then he must be confident in the development of the national economy. We have been working in Armenia for already 4 years,” Verkennis noted.
According to him, it took 50 years for development of Netherlands' communities.
“I do not mean that Armenia will need 50 years too, it can happen faster,” he added.
