Sean Spicer resigned from the post of the White House press secretary on Friday, The New York Times informed on Friday, citing an informed source.

According to the newspaper, the reason behind Spicer’s decision was his disagreement with US President Donald Trump over the appointment of the New York financier Anthony Scaramucci as communications director, TASS reports.
