Graffiti was found spray-painted in red on a pillar of the Lincoln Memorial in Washington D.C. early Tuesday morning.

The graffiti appears to say “[expletive] law.”

The National Park Service is actively working to remove the graffiti, reported TASS Russian News Agency.

The investigation into this incident is ongoing, and anyone with information about the vandalism is asked to contact the US Park Police.
