Rose Gottemoeller, the Deputy Secretary General of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization  (NATO), is hosted at Yerevan State University.

Gottemoeller is the first female Deputy Secretary General of NATO.

She has held several senior positions on the US National Security Council. 

Gottemoeller has worked at the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace.

Also, she served as the Under Secretary for Arms Control and International Security at the US Department of State, and as Assistant Secretary of State for the US Bureau of Arms Control, Verification and Compliance.

Rose Gottemoeller took up her position as Deputy Secretary General of NATO in October 2016.
