Media reported new details in the case of the murder of Russian Ambassador to Turkey Andrey Karlov.

According to Cumhuriyet newspaper, on the day of the crime, the murderer of Ambassador Mevlut Altyntas did not come to work referring to his poor state of health.

He took the pistol from his place of work and returned home. In the evening, Altyntash went to the rented hotel room, where he stayed until 18:31. Using his phone, he transferred all the money to his mother's name. After leaving the hotel, Altyntas went to the exhibition hall, where he killed the Russian diplomat.

An armed attack was carried out on the Russian ambassador to Turkey in December 2016. Police killed the attacker Mevlut Altyntas who has been working for Ankara police for 2.5 years.
