YEREVAN. – The drivers of several public transport minibuses in Yerevan have gone on a strike.

The drivers of a number of public transport routes in Armenia’s capital city did not come to work on early Tuesday morning, the Armenian reporter informed from the scene.

They are protesting the recent increase in fuel prices in the country, and noting that their earnings have dropped as a result and they are unable to provide for their families.

A large number of police officers are overseeing the protest rally of these drivers.
