STEPANAKERT. – Republic of Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh Republic/NKR) Defense Army serviceman Harutyun Khachatryan (born in 1998) sustained a fatal gunshot wound, on Tuesday at around 1:15am.

He was mortally wounded at the protection area of a Defense Army military unit, but under yet unclear circumstances.

An investigation is underway to find out the details of this incident, informed the NKR Ministry of Defense (MOD).
