YEREVAN. – The compressed gas cylinder of a public transport passenger van, which was driven by G. D. (born in 1988), exploded Friday at a compressed gas station in Armenia’s capital city of Yerevan.

A station employee suffered injuries.

Suren Makaryan, head of the intensive care unit at ARMENIA Republican Medical Center where this man is being treated, on Saturday told Armenian that he is in very critical condition.

He noted that Erik K., 32, is hooked up to an artificial respiration apparatus and has many fractures.
