Pope Francis on Monday received Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, at the Vatican.
Erdoğan is paying a visit to the Vatican at the invitation of the Pope, according to Cumhuriyet newspaper of Turkey.
Their closed meeting lasted an hour.
