U.S. Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin received a Congressional clarion call to action from 31 House members to renegotiate the existing, outdated Double Tax Treaty with Armenia.

On the same day, Secretary Mnuchin testified that the Treasury Department will dedicate staff resources to pursuing the Treaty. The lawmakers said the Soviet-era treaty does not reflect the increasing complexity of a globalized world and the US-Armenia friendship.

Elon Musk’s Space X successfully launched Falcon Heavy, the most powerful rocket the company has ever built. Elon Musk's Tesla Roadster sports car was riding at the top of the rocket's second stage, carrying a spacesuit-wearing mannequin in the car.

Later in the day Musk said SpaceX failed to land one of its Falcon Heavy first-stage boosters.

Armenia plans to join the Convention on Road Signs and Signals. The Armenian parliament is holding the debates with respect to the bill on ratification of the Convention.

This is a transition from the ex-Soviet road signs’ system to a more modern and internationally-accepted road signs’ system.

FIFA World Cup trophy was presented in Armenia for the first time in history. The 2018 trophy was unveiled by 1998 World Cup champion Christian Karembeu.

During the presentation, Karembeu said that two French of the Armenian origin –  Youri Djorkaeff and Alain Boghossian – won the Cup back in 1998.

The rate of bitcoin started going up after the collapse. The rate is $ 7505 on Wednesday with a daily growth of 19.44%. According to earlier reports,  bitcoin fell below $ 7 thousand.
