Former governor of Odessa region and ex-president of Georgia Mikheil Saakashvili has been deported by Ukrainian authorities to Poland, spokesman for Ukraine’s border service said on Monday.

Saakashvili, the opposition leader in Ukraine, was deported in compliance with all legal procedures, Oleh Slobodyan wrote on Facebook.

Earlier the politician was detained in one of the restaurants in Kiev.
