A conference on the historical and cultural richness of Armenia was held in the library of the Congress in Washington.

The conference titled "Contemporary problems of Armenian history and culture" was held within annual lectures “Vardanants orer", Voice of America reported.

Historians from the US, Europe and Armenia presented the most relevant issues of Armenology, from the development of the Armenian Kingdom of Cilicia to the spread of Samizdat.
