Armenia’s Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has expressed the hope that Russia-Armenia relations will continue to be built on the basis of respect for the interests of both countries, RIA Novosti news agency reported.

“I’m confident that the issues of the two countries will be resolved, and we will base ourselves on the precept of respect for the interests of our allied relations, respect for the sovereignty of our countries, not interfering with each other’s internal affairs,” Pashinyan said at his talk with Russian President Vladimir Putin, in Moscow.

He added that it is indispensable to strive to discover the full potential of relations between both countries.

In Pashinyan’s words, despite pessimistic reports by the media of the two countries, Armenia-Russia cooperation is developing with dynamism.
