Karabakh President Bako Sahakyan together with Armenian PM Nikol Pashinyan visited the northern section of the border.

“Although the situation on the front line is quite tense, we can still assess it as stable and controllable. Anyway, the Armenian Armed Forces and the Defense Army confidently keep control of the situation. And we discussed with the President of Artsakh and the representatives of the Armed Forces the current situation over Karabakh, our positions and also there were discussions over the political and military situation”, Pashinyan said in his Facebook live broadcast.

The final electoral rolls in Sunday’s snap election for the capital city Yerevan Council of Elders have been posted on the official website of the Police of Armenia.

As per these final electoral rolls, the number of eligible voters is 848,343.

Non-Armenian citizens also can vote in the election if they have at least a one-year registration before voting day.

Reporters Without Borders (RSF) condemned search by police of the headquarters of the Yerevan-based Armenian news website Yerevan.Today. It violated the confidentiality of journalists’ sources, RSF said.

“We regret that the police did not seek a less intrusive and more proportionate way to achieve their legitimate goal”, said Johann Bihr, the head of RSF’s Eastern Europe and Central Asia desk.

Executive director of Gyumri Information Technologies Center, Amalya Yeghoyan, paid a business visit to California, where new investment agreements were signed within the scope of the business visit.

Based on one of such documents signed by Yeghoyan and Executive Director of Alena Solutions Asbed Kassis, the company is planning on opening offices in the IT Centers of Vanadzor and Gyumri. Alena Solutions is a company offering technology solutions to various businesses.

The other agreement was signed with the founding co-chief executive officer of Hireclout, Avetis Antaplyan. The company is planning on opening an office in Gyumri conducting the marketing of Hireclout. The main offerings of the company are technology recruitment and consulting.

The leaders of the two Koreas agreed to start works on connecting roads and railways within the year during their third summit this year.

The summit was welcomed by U.S. President Donald Trump who described the event as “exciting”.

The Armenian Foreign Ministry also welcomed the summit and “signing of historic accord aimed at normalization of relations, creation of confidence building measures and securing peace in the region”.
