The US decision to withdraw missile systems from some countries in the Middle East was an “internal and routine procedure”, said a statement from the Gulf Arab state’s chief of staff.

According to the statement, the US decision had been coordinated with Kuwait’s military.

“Kuwait’s Patriot missile system, independently, protects and covers all its geographical borders,” Reuters reported referring to the statement.
