YEREVAN. – Armenia’s Foreign Minister Zohrab Mnatsakanyan on Friday met with Miroslav Lajčák, the Minister of Foreign and European Affairs of Slovakia, on the sidelines of the 73rd Session of the UN General Assembly in New York.

The interlocutors conferred on bilateral relations between both countries, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.

Also, the FMs exchanged views on the prospects for further promoting Armenia-European Union (EU) relations and cooperation based on the Armenia-EU Comprehensive and Enhanced Partnership Agreement.

In addition, they reflected on the priorities of Slovakia’s forthcoming Chairmanship-in-Office of the OSCE. In this connection, Mnatsakanyan presented to Lajčák  Armenia’s position and outlook on the process toward the Nagorno-Karabakh (Artsakh) conflict’s resolution within the framework of the OSCE Minsk Group.
