France is paying tribute to the legendary French-Armenian singer Charles Aznavour (PHOTOS).
President of France Emmanuel Macron and Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan are expected to deliver a speech.
The ceremony at Les Invalides complex is attended by officials, politicians and celebrities. Former presidents of France Francois Hollande, Nicolas Sarkozy and his spouse Carla Bruni, Armenian PM Nikol Pashinyan and his spouse Anna Hakobyan, President of Armen Armen Sarkissian and his spouse.
The coffin was brought to the square accompanied by “Dle Yaman” Armenian song.
October 6 has been announced the Day of Mourning in Armenia.
