The President of Armenia, Armen Sarkissian, has signed a decree.

Accordingly, based on the Acting Prime Minister’s proposal, and in accordance with the Constitution, Deputy Foreign Minister Garen Nazarian has been appointed the Ambassador of Armenia to the Holy See.

Nazarian’s respective diplomatic residence will be at Vatican City.
