YEREVAN.- In connection with the closure of the Ministry of Diaspora,  one of the options discussed is the idea that the Office of the Prime Minister should regulate relations with the Diaspora, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan announced live on Facebook, commenting on the fate of the Ministry of Diaspora.

“This implies that the backbone of the Ministry of Diaspora will be included in the Office of the Prime Minister as a unit. When two ministries perform the same function, this is an example of poor management, ”said Pashinyan, noting that the issue of leadership and coordination arises here, which is currently under discussion.

According to him, several options are being discussed: “One of them is the ambassador for Special Assignments, who will deal with relations with the diaspora. So we will reach a new level of relations with the Diaspora. ”
