YEREVAN. – Vahan Kostanyan, assistant to President Ararat Mirzoyan of the Republic of Armenia National Assembly (RA NA), has made a post on Facebook.

“The delegation, led by Ararat Mirzoyan, has already arrived in Berlin” he wrote. “By the way, the last time the RA NA President was invited to Germany on an official visit was exactly 25 years ago, in the distant 1994.”

As reported earlier, the Mirzoyan-led NA delegation will be on an official visit to Germany, from Monday to Thursday.

The agenda of the visit includes meetings of the parliamentary speaker with President of the Bundestag Wolfgang Schäuble, Vice-President of the Bundestag Petra Pau, head of the Germany-South Caucasus Parliamentary Friendship Group Johannes Kars, President of the Parliament of Berlin Ralf Viland, President of the Landtag of Saarland Stephan Toscani, and the chairmanship of the German-Armenian Forum.

The delegation, led by the Armenian parliamentary speaker, will also pay visits to the German Parliamentary Association (DPG), the German Institute for International and Security Affairs (SWP), and the University of Saarland.
