The embassy of Armenia in Kyiv has issued a statement in connection with the murder of Olexandr Bukhtatyi, an employee of the Presidential Administration of Ukraine.

As per the statement, the embassy learned with pain from the press the news about the death of Bukhtatyi and an Armenian citizen’s possible involvement in it.

Also, the Armenian embassy extended deep condolences to the family and friends of the victim, and strongly condemned any violence.

In addition, the embassy expressed confidence that those guilty will be found and be punished under the law, and noted that it is ready to assist the murder investigation.

As reported earlier, an Armenian national was detained on suspicion of the murder of an employee of the Ukrainian presidential staff.
