Ural Airlines has independently canceled the permits for certain Rosaviatsiya flights on the sidelines of improvement of the route network. This is what Ural Airlines reported in response to Sputnik Armenia’s inquiry.

Earlier, the airline company had canceled the permits for 67 flights, including the flights to Yerevan.

“The airline company canceled the permits for certain flights to raise the level of effectiveness of the company, but this won’t have an impact on the total volume of activities or the quality of services that the airline company provides,” the company’s spokesperson Vera Gasnikova said.

The company’s press release states that a permit for route flights is a document that is required for planning flights.

However, including such flights in the flight schedule depends on many factors, including the economic situation and the demand for the particular destination.

Currently, the airline company’s planes make flights to Armenia’s capital from Saint Petersburg, Sochi, Samara, Yekaterinburg, Moscow, Nizhni Novgorod and Krasnodar.
