YEREVAN. – Armenians play an important role in the development of Crimea.

Russian Ambassador to Armenia Sergey Kopirkin noted the above-said in a message addressed to the discussants in Friday’s international conference devoted to the right of nations to self-determination.

Ambassador’s advisor Pavel Kurochkin read the message, in which it was noted, in particular, that “Crimea’s reunification with Russia” was a result of an expression of will by Crimea’s multiethnic people, including Armenians.

The message added, above all, that the cultural rights of peoples were also widely ensured in Crimea.
