On 29 March, Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Armenia, Lieutenant-General Artak Davtyan received Head of the General Department of Personnel of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, Colonel-General Victor Goremikin and Secretary of the Council of Ministers of Defense of CIS countries, Major-General Yuri Dashkin, who are in Armenia to participate in the concluding stage of the International Foreign Language Olympiad held with the participation of the cadets of the military education institutions of CIS countries, reports the news service of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Armenia, according to NEWS.am.

Among the participants of the meeting was Deputy Minister of Defense of the Republic of Armenia Gabriel Balayan.

The interlocutors discussed the issues on preparation and training of military servicemen of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Armenia at the military education institutions of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.
